Dr. Fabian Ebontane Sone Stone
Proprietor & Founder, Fess Technical and Commercial College Muyuka
Dr. FESS was born in 1936 at Muambong Village in Bangem Sub-Division. His parents settled in Limbe, where he attended St. Thomas Catholic School Bota from 1946 to 1951. With the assistance of his father's friend, he gained admission into St. Paul Commercial College, Abia State, Nigeria, from 1952 to 1958.
Between 1959 and 1963 he studied at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, graduating with a B.Sc. in Business Administration. Driven by a quest for knowledge, he gained admission into the Azumco Radio and Television Institute in 1965. In 1978 he travelled abroad to further his studies at the University of Manchester, where he obtained a Master's Degree in College Management. He was later honoured with a Ph.D. in 1997 from the University of Ibadan.
He established Fess Technical and Commercial College Muyuka in 1968 — the first private technical college across the Mongo. The founder's mission was to create and provide an excellent education for its students within a stimulating learning environment that would enhance their development and potential for success in society.
As sole proprietor, Dr. FESS provided opportunities for students through scholarships and financial assistance, and the college he built has remained a lamplight for technical and vocational education in the region ever since.

Fess Technical College is founded
Established as the first private technical college across the Mongo, in Muyuka.
Master's Degree, Manchester
The founder travels abroad to obtain a Master's Degree in College Management.
Ph.D. conferred
Honoured with a Doctorate from the University of Ibadan in recognition of his work.
1st Convention
The college marks a major milestone with its first convention, celebrating its legacy.
